The Composer

Lord Theliel Voland

Adopted into the House Haillenarte, Theliel remains the black sheep of his 'family'. Primarily he functions as an arms dealer willing to work with any and all who will pay his prices. Theliel is a charming young man who loves to gossip and can often be found in various clubs and parlors learning more about those around him. It is strange that those who have questioned his heritage have gone missing... so strange...

The Conductor

Malaketh Syretia

A rejected scholar but highly trained alchemist. Malaketh now runs and operates a cabaret gifted to him by an anonymous benefactor where customers may partake in auctions for difficult to find items. It is well known amongst the Ul'dahn underground, as are Malaketh's unique drinks. As a bartender he utilizes his knowledge of alchemy, illicit substances, and alcohol to craft the perfect drink for his clients.

  • ((A warning from the author: Malaketh is highly manipulative. He utilizes a person's fears or insecurities in order to get them to allow him to experiment on them. He is a villian and will put the outcomes of his experiment above the welfare of any character.))

The Symphony

You can certainly ask about the link between the mysterious bartender and his affluent patron, but you will learn little from either of them. When they set aside their masks what is underneath is difficult to look at. The composer carefully selects their notes placing them together in the optimal setting for his conductor. And the conductor loyally follows his composer's directions each note struck at precisely the right time so they might both enjoy the discordant sounds.
One day they both hope for the ultimate performance, a symphony to rival all symphonies composed and conducted entirely by them.

Hooks: Theliel

  • Gossip: Theliel adores gossip, he will listen and give every reaction you hope one might. He may even tell you something interesting in return.

  • Power: Being the black sheep of a High House is not easy, though Theliel wears his title proudly he is always looking for a way to climb higher.

  • The Occult: Theliel is of course devoted to the teachings of the Holy See... that being said if you have information regarding something outside of those teachings he'd be interested to listen.

Hooks: Malaketh

  • Drugs and Alcohol: Malaketh is primarily a bartender, and a practiced one at that. He is also well known for his more illicit substances. Should you ask he'd be happy to provide you with either. For a price of course.

  • Experimentation: Malaketh seeks to better the world around him. Too many people suffer due to their own shortcomings- rather than work on those why not allow him to do it for you?

  • Defying Nature: The study of Alchemy allows its students to defy nature and manipulate the world around them. Should you agree with this sentiment you and Malaketh will have much to discuss.

  • 21+ Only, all of my characters deal with more mature topics and I'm uncomfortable roleplaying with anyone under the age of 21.

  • IC and OOC do not mix I am not my characters nor are they me. The way my characters act is not a reflection of my opinion of the other author. Please just communicate with me OOC if you need clarification!

  • Neither Theliel nor Malaketh are interested in romantic or sexual partners. This will never be a part of their story, please understand this prior to interracting with them.

  • Both Malaketh and Theliel are EVIL characters they WILL manipulate your character, this of course requires A LOT of OOC conversation. I will never have Malaketh or Theliel ensnare someone who does not want their character to be manipulated, so I ask that if you involve yourself with these characters you are upfront with me on how far you'd like them to take things.

  • Malaketh deals illicit substances thus I do require anyone who roleplays with him past the bar to understand this concept and handle it responsibly. I will always communicate OOC the effects of what he provides.

  • Theliel is a narcissistic sociopath, if his mask slips he becomes VERY dark and VERY angry. I cannot emphasize enough that he is meant to be a villain. He will step on and use anyone to climb higher in power.

  • Despite both of these characters being literally the worst people to walk the earth I do try my best to be an upbeat and loving human! I will apologize endlessly OOC for their antics and I will need lots of OOC communication to ensure that both of us as writers are in good headspaces to traverse these dark themes!

  • With the above rule in mind note that because these characters are very dark it takes me a little longer to roleplay them. I ask for your patience.
